Our financial needs are met through grants distributed by philanthropic organisations as well as financial donations and fundraising.
In 2020 we received funding from Geelong Connected Communities for $3000 towards refrigeration requirements in the new facility. We used this money to purchase refrigerators and freezers giving us the capacity to accept large volumes of lamb for distribution.
We also received a grant from Geelong Community Foundation for $20,000 to put towards the building of our new drive-thru facility. This will be used in conjunction with the $60,000 donated by the Anthony Costa Foundation for the construction of our new kitchen.
The Anthony Costa Foundation has also generously given $18,500, contributing towards the outreach work run throughout 2020.
St. Mary of the Angels parish has been constantly supporting us, along with a donation made by parishioner Fr. Des Panton to support our charitable works.
Financial donations made by Swidon Investments have greatly contributed to our initial foundations of the charity.
We have partnered with Ko.Ko.Mo Skincare to raise funds through the sale of organic lip balms. All profits from the sale of lip balms will be donated to Bay Leaf Community Kitchen.
If you feel you could assist us with fundraising please get in touch with us.
Our new facility will include signage for those organisations and businesses who are supporting our charitable works.
